Cloud or server?

More and more software solutions do not come on disks but are web-based. These also allow you to work from anywhere -office, car, home or (with a decent satellite connection) the middle of the pacific ocean.

The downside of course, is that should you lose your internet connection, you become unable to work. The upside is that should your premices burn down or broken into, you won't lose all your important information (data loss accounts for the 80% business closure rate in the 5 years following a fire).
